{"id":6105,"date":"2023-05-12T14:26:49","date_gmt":"2023-05-12T14:26:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bobgriffithsphoto.uk\/?p=6105"},"modified":"2023-05-12T19:03:23","modified_gmt":"2023-05-12T19:03:23","slug":"semester-2-week-12-submission-prep","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bobgriffithsphoto.uk\/?p=6105","title":{"rendered":"Semester 2 Week 12 &#8211; Submission Prep"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Friday 28th April<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the last taught week of the academic year, after this it&#8217;s reading weeks, tutorials, support and finally submission of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First task was to complete the end of module feedback form to allow lessons to be learned by staff and the university as a whole as to what is going well and what needs to be improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following this I made some notes on what tasks were still left to do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Need to resubmit the exhibition review at the same time as the essay and portfolio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Need to write a blog post on the feedback from the last review<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Need to document research for essay in the blog too. Which books did I use etc?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blog post for book binding workshop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I also had a question about the essay title page, Alice shared Essay writing skills workshop PowerPoint from an earlier seminar and it plainly shows that the essay needs to comply with the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Module code and name on front sheet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Essay title<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Table of contents optional<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Page numbers in bottom right corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Font choice 12<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Over four lines plus quotes are indented and removed from word count<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reference List on Separate Sheet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve developed a To Do list to check things off as I get closer to hitting the submit button on the Canvas system<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/bobgriffithsphoto.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_1969-1024x768.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6106\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bobgriffithsphoto.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_1969-1024x768.png 1024w, https:\/\/bobgriffithsphoto.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_1969-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/bobgriffithsphoto.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_1969-768x576.png 768w, https:\/\/bobgriffithsphoto.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IMG_1969.png 1411w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you can see, I&#8217;ve now ticked off the overview posts for the year, the year-long project and the essay research information.. I&#8217;m now in the process of putting together the document with hyperlinks in to aid the markers find the information in the blog more easily. once this is done it&#8217;ll be time to digitise the sketch books, prints I&#8217;ve made through the year and my final works.
