Week 4 was a week of Tutorial for the Dissertation and a presentation of the practice project to peers and staff. All this after a session in the darkroom printing some images from Japan.

Today was the first day of me being in all day and working with the Contextual part of the module in the morning, followed by the tutorial after the lunch break. I could discuss a couple of questions with my tutor and chat about the options for the practical work as well as the contextual work, including the dissertation.
The Exhibition is here, The Matter Of The Black Country, at Centrala. We still had to pick up the work, install it and prepare for the opening. This is a brief catch up on the evening of the opening and the work that leads up to it.
This week sees a scramble to get my freshly developed negatives of Dudley Zoo scanned in and then printed out in the darkroom. A session with Jim in the Print hub and a review of the project in the form of a presentation to the rest of the group.
This week was a bit of printing in the dark room, a presentation of the midway review and a trip to the art gallery.
Today was the last day of our Level 5 Exhibition – Timeless Perspectives at the Eagle Works, Wolverhampton.
We had opened on Thursday with a private view and then yesterday saw a couple of people come and view the exhibition. Would today bring more visitors?
This week sees the whole uni still without computers so it was into the old school colour darkrooms with some negatives. That joined with a tutorial on the Practice module too as prep for the exhibition in April.
Nearly time to go home, one more day to pack in lots of museums and photography, does it work out as planned? You bet it doesn’t.
A task on post modernism and also a chance to print some images in the darkroom, after developing a 35 mm film first.
Today was going to be the pre-booked trips to teamLab Planets and Tokyo Skytree, plus whatever else I could fit into it.
