In the last post, we read about how we picked up the motorhome from Indie Campers in Fremont, California, and travelled through Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and Lake Mead, ending up at Monument Valley. The van performed flawlessly, apart from the dodgy brakes and the infestation of ants. Now we move into the Midwest of America on the way from San Francisco to New York City.
The previous two posts were an introduction to the holiday and the first part, being in San Francisco. Now we come to the main part of the adventure, the motorhome journey across the US from West to East coast and covers days 4 to 7.
