This week saw me attend a live gig for a band from BIMM Birmingham, only to catch the last three bars of their set, but I had fun stopping there to photograph the remaining bands that were playing in the Night Owl, Birmingham.
A symposium from the Royal Photographic Society’s Historical Group at the University of Wolverhampton on “the history and impact of photography.”
The third shoot in a collaboration between ourselves at University of Wolverhampton and BIMM University Birmingham. The band, Wooden Dog, were performing at The Spice Of Life in London’s Soho area, and I was there to take photos of them for my brief on Level 5 of the degree in Photography.
This Monday came around and Brian , my coursemate from the course at Wolverhampton University, had organised to meet Wooden Dog for a photo shoot at the BIMM Live Rooms.
A day out in early January to drive a Batmobile, visit Bisley Shooting centre and also Brunell Brutalist University.
The Exhibition is here, The Matter Of The Black Country, at Centrala. We still had to pick up the work, install it and prepare for the opening. This is a brief catch up on the evening of the opening and the work that leads up to it.
